The king of Denkyira, His Royal Majesty Odeefuo Boa Amponsen IV, yesterday paid a courtesy call on the National Executive Council of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) International at Osu in Accra.
In his first public appearance, the King took the opportunity to thank the leadership of the church, which he belongs and served as a retired Elder.
Denkyirahene expressed profound gratitude to the church for their spiritual and material supports during his enstoolment and coronation ceremonies at Jukwa and Dunkwa-On Offin respectively.
Odeefuo assured the church of his commitment to the church and God, using his position as a King. He hinted the church of his plans to help put up ultra-modern church complex at Jukwa for CAC.
In responding to the King's address, the Acting Chairman of the Church, Apostle Dr. Stephen Acheampong, thanked the king for his appreciation and the recognition of their contribution to his enstoolment process.
He noted that both the church and chieftaincy institution have a role to play in promoting the work of God for the betterment of mankind, therefore it's their duty as a church to ensure that they contribute their quota for the successful enstoolment and coronation of their own.
He assured the king and the traditional council of the church's continuous support to the king and the entire kingdom spiritually for God's protection and developments.
A prayer was offered for the king and his entourage.
