DENKYIRAHEMAA'S LEGAL ADVISOR DISMISSES INJUNCTION RUMOURS ON KING'S CORONATION

Lawyer Emmanuel Kojo Nannah, legal advisor to the Denkyirahemaa and secretary to the planning committee for the installation and coronation of the 26th King of Denkyira, has refuted rumours circulating on social media claiming that an injunction has been placed on the event.

Speaking to ATL FM’s Kofi Konadu this afternoon, Lawyer Nannah described the reports as false and misleading, urging the public to disregard them and participate fully in the upcoming activities.

He clarified that the elected King, Odehyie Kwame Mensah (Oscar Kessie), has already been duly installed, and preparations for the coronation ceremony scheduled for Monday, 20th October, are progressing smoothly. According to him, all related programmes in both Jukwa, the traditional capital, and Dunkwa-on-Offin, the administrative capital, will take place as planned and without interruption.

Lawyer Nannah further alleged that the rumour was being spread by some faceless individuals who falsely claim royal lineage from the Agona clan of New Dweben, though they are unknown to the royal family and have no legitimate ties to Denkyira land.
