Ho: Youth from the NDC break into the party office and burn everything

ree

On Tuesday, a group of disgruntled young people from the Ho Central Constituency of the National Democratic Congress stormed the party headquarters in Ho and burned a number of office supplies.

Although the group's members have not yet been recognized, it is thought that their actions are related to the party's rising dissatisfaction with President Mahama's failure to appoint anyone from the constituency.

The attack, which took place just after sundown, resulted in the burning of numerous office supplies, including two computers, office files and documents, and furniture.

In addition, car tires were burned in front of the party office and on the Ho market road directly in front of the party office, blocking traffic until Ghana National Fire Service firefighters arrived to put out the fire.

Constituency Speaking to the media following the event, Deputy Secretary Theophilus Adzanku said the party will find the culprits and make sure they are dealt with appropriately.
